After a successful ‘Jacobs Jumpers’ skydive held last May, this Pride of Reading jeweller will feature future-inspired jewellery for its 70th-anniversary design in June. Designed by talented in-house craft team as a one-off project, this unique pendant is entirely a stunning, one-of-a-kind piece.
Along with this future-inspired jewellery piece, individual raffle tickets for quarterly raffles are still available. So, you can even have a chance to win fabulous prizes worth over £600 which will be drawn on July.
Reading Jewellers Making a Big Leap for its 70th Anniversary
The 2018 ‘Seventy for Seventy’ program centres on the ambitious goal of raising £70,000 for the Royal Berkshire Hospital Charity, specifically the Berkshire Cancer Centre.
Some fundraising events and initiatives are planned for the purchase of Surface Guided Radiotherapy, which can be an excellent help for cancer treatment. Directly donating for the said cause can be efficiently and securely done through JustGiving page. The funds will be sent straight to the charity.
As the big year is now underway, Award-winning Jacobs the Jewellers is set to showcase globe-inspired jewellery this June to keep its important celebration.
Behind the Futuristic Design of Globe-Inspired Jewellery
Showcasing a future-inspired signature piece is another milestone marked for Jacobs as one of the most trusted independent jewellers in Reading.
Jacobs design team have come up with a concept that they think represents something relevant for the future, focusing on renewable energies and recycling. The pendant is a representation of the world, a globe, with the universal recycling symbol around it. This will be made of silver and will be a one-off design. Selling starts at around £550 where part of the proceeds will be added to the fundraising charity. The above picture is a working draft of the finished design.
Initiatives running in parallel also include every 2018 purchase completed being entered into a prize draw to win a 0.70ct diamond 18ct white gold pendant, worth over £4000.
The whole Jacobs team are looking forward to reaching its £70,000 goal for the charity with the help of their customers, friends and partners. Everyone is invited to join every highlight of this year-long celebration.
