Designer: Caitlin Murphy. 'Shepherds Sky Delight' A pair of sterling silver and niobium rocking vessels. Dimensions: 65x65x40mm. Designer's comments: "These two rocking vessels are part of a group of objects titled Shepherd's Sky Delight. They are a depiction of the classic saying "Red sky at night, Shepherds delight". These two pay homage to the wonderful sunsets I have seen over the years in Northern Ireland where I grew up. The rocking vessels are sculptural objects designed to be displayed on the table as unique ornaments. The curved silver frames allow them to rock gently to the motions of life. The Niobium stirps have been corrugated before weaving to enhance the colours after anodising".
