For many people, buying a piece of fine jewellery can be one of the single biggest purchases they ever make. From engagement rings to landmark birthday and anniversary gifts, jewellery presents to mark these big life occasions are real one-off expenditures.

However, with Jacobs’ jewellery finance, paying for your treasured items doesn’t have to be an all-in-one activity. We offer interest free credit on nearly all our jewellery and watch products, meaning you can spread your engagement ring financing or watch finance over several months.

How does jewellery finance work at Jacobs?

Jacobs is an independent jeweller working with Novuna (formerly Hitachi). This is a jewellery finance service that lets you spread the cost of your purchase over 1, 2 or 3 years – all interest free. This facility allows you to pay the sale price of your jewellery while benefiting from extended payment terms.

Our jewellery financing facility with Novuna is assessed and carried out in store. You’ll enter your details into our store iPad, choose your agreement length for financing your purchase and agree to the terms + conditions.

The whole process usually takes around half an hour. You can choose the amount of deposit you pay up front – a minimum of 10% of the total cost is required, while the maximum you can pay to qualify for jewellery and watch finance is 50%.

How often will I make a payment for my engagement ring, watch or jewellery?

Most Novuna jewellery financing options involve you paying for an engagement monthly (and for any other eligible item). After your initial deposit, the amount you spend each month will depend on the length of the jewellery finance terms you agree to, and the total cost of the item.

As long as you keep up the repayments with Novuna each month, you’ll own the watch or jewellery item outright at the end of the interest free finance term.
