My daughter and I absolutely loved our time at the “Ring in a Day” workshop. It was such a unique and enriching experience! We learned so much, from the history of jewellery making to modern techniques, and followed the entire process of creating a silver ring step by step. From melting and shaping the metal to measuring and rolling it into form, every stage was hands-on and fascinating.
Our favourite part was the hammering—it was so satisfying! Caitlin, the expert designer, guided us with skill and patience, making the process both fun and approachable. We're delighted to announce as from February 2025 we'll be offering clients the ability to have a jewellery making experience like no other. 

Join us for a half day ring making experience, including...

• One to one tuition with our in house designer (this is not a large group activity)
• Making your own silver ring from scratch
• Choose polished or hammered finish
• Stamp a personal message inside

Learn about

• A history of jewellery
• Soldering, filing and hammering skills
• Rolling, milling and polishing techniques

Includes

• Tea, coffee, pastries
• Your silver ring in a Jacobs presentation box
• A certificate of achievement

This 4 hour experience is £395, and a gift certificate is available to present. It's the perfect gift for anyone with an interest in art, craft and jewellery. We can also accommodate 2 budding craftspeople for £475.

In the limited time available...

• a classic simple silver band ring
• a polished or hammered finish
• optional internal hand stamped message

...can be taught and made. 

Only a limited amount of these workshops will be available each year, so act now to secure a place.
