2024 - The year in review

Let's take a look at what's been popular in 2024 with our design department, and see what's been trending!

As you can see yellow gold was the preferred material to work with, closely followed by platinum. These two materials together cover almost 70% of bespoke jewellery commissions.

That said, jewellery that's white in colour - platinum, silver, or white gold equates to 56%± of projects we've delivered.

So quite an even split really between yellow and white. Metal colour seems to be more about personal taste than trends these days, which is lovely to see. If you love the piece it will never go out of style.

I do love to see the rose gold pieces in there too. We made a few beautiful rose gold pieces this year, with pink diamonds and they were so fun to work on!

Excuse the mislabelling on one of the entries (!) but the trends here seem pretty clear. Rings are by far and away our most popular style of jewellery to bespoke make, followed by pendants.

Within rings, engagement and wedding rings are the most common, and we've seen lots of signet rings being made too.

We've had a wonderful mix of projects, from remodelling existing jewellery into new creations to crafting pieces entirely from scratch.

Often, we get to work with older gemstones, fitting multiple mismatched stones into one beautiful piece. New bespoke pieces are usually made because clients have unique design ideas that don't quite exist yet.

We absolutely love the challenge of both and enjoy creating the perfect piece for each client!
